We work hard to keep our customers safe and to prevent abuse on the Bytio network. Therefore before you first Top Up your Bytio account you will be prompted to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
We strongly recommend you complete the KYC process before putting Bytio into production in your app or service, to avoid any potential disruption.
How the Know Your Customer (KYC) Process Works
The KYC process typically takes 1-2 minutes to complete and is performed through our partner, sumsub.com. The process can be completed entirely online through the Bytio dashboard and involves submitting a photo of an identity document (such as a passport, identity card or drivers license) along with a short selfie video.
