Unlike some other providers, Bytio directly owns, or leases, the IPv4 address space and cellular devices used in the datacenter and mobile proxy networks.
IPv4 address sourcing.
IPs used in the datacenter proxy network are sourced from IPv4 address space either owned directly, or leased, by Bytio. IPv4 addresses are hosted by servers on the Bytio network to ensure quality of service and uptime.
Constant monitoring.
All IPv4 addresses that comprise the datacenter proxy network are periodically checked for correct country reporting. Bytio uses IP geolocation services from ipinfo.io, a leading global provider for this purpose.
Mobile proxies.
The Bytio mobile network is comprised of physical 4G and 5G devices connected to cellular networks. These devices are owned or leased by Bytio directly and are not using SDKs or other embedded software in end-user devices (as is the case with many legacy mobile proxy providers).
Quality of service.
All cellular devices in the mobile proxy network are subject to periodic connectivity and thruput checks to ensure traffic is balanced throughout the network. This greatly assists in maintaining a quality of service when cellular bandwidth in a particular location or congested.
